The Toro STX-38 is a commercial tracked stump grinder powered by a 38HP Kohler Command PRO ECV980 EFI gasoline engine. Designed for professional tree care, landscaping and stump removal, it features a 22.25-inch cutting wheel with 16 grinder teeth and a maximum cutting depth of 18 inches below grade. Its 34-inch overall width allows access through narrow gates and confined work areas.

The dual hydrostatic traction drive provides forward speeds up to 4.5 mph. Toro's Intelli-Sweep technology automatically adjusts cutter head sweep speed based on cutting load, while the hydraulically driven cutting head eliminates the need for cutter-drive belts and pulleys. TX-style controls and a tracked undercarriage provide maneuverability and controlled operation on uneven terrain.
