The Kawasaki FR730V-HS00S is a 24 HP vertical-shaft gasoline engine designed for lawn and turf equipment. It features a 726cc 90° V-twin, 4-cycle OHV configuration with forced-air cooling and electronic spark ignition.

The HS00S configuration features a 1" x 3-5/32" vertical crankshaft, electric start, a 15-amp alternator, and a fuel pump. The engine also uses pressurized lubrication, automatic compression release, an internally vented carburetor with fuel shut-off solenoid, rotating metal grass-chopper screen, cast-iron cylinder liners, and a single-stage air filter.
