The Kawasaki FS600V-AS41S is an 18.5 HP vertical-shaft gasoline engine designed for lawn tractors, zero-turn riders, and wide-area walk-behind mowers. It features a 603cc 90° V-twin, 4-cycle OHV configuration, forced-air cooling, and electronic spark ignition.

The AS41S configuration features both electric and recoil starting, a 1" x 3-5/32" vertical crankshaft, dual-element air filtration, automatic compression release, pressurized lubrication, an internally vented carburetor, rotating grass screen, and cast-iron cylinder liners.
