Product Description

The Volt/Kohler VK-5500-E is a portable gasoline generator powered by a 9.5 HP Kohler CH395 engine. It provides 5,000 watts of continuous AC output and 5,500 watts of surge power for compatible tools, motors, appliances and lighting. The generator operates at 120 or 240 volts, single phase, 60 Hz.

The VK-5500-E features electric and recoil starting, circuit-breaker protection, low-oil shutdown and copper windings. It includes 120V and 240V receptacles, a 12V DC output, a 7.4-gallon fuel tank and an approximate 12-hour runtime at 50% load.
