The Kawasaki FS600V-CS25S is an 18.5 HP vertical-shaft gasoline engine designed for lawn tractors, zero-turn riders, and wide-area walk-behind mowers. It features a 603cc 90° V-twin, 4-cycle overhead V-valve design, forced-air cooling, and electronic spark ignition.

The CS25S configuration uses recoil starting, a 1" x 3-5/32" vertical crankshaft, clutch coil, and side-mounted muffler. It also features pressurized lubrication, automatic compression release, dual-element air filtration, internally vented carburetion, rotating grass screen, and cast-iron cylinder liners.
