The Kawasaki FS600V-FS04S is an 18.5 HP vertical-shaft gasoline engine designed as a Toro replacement configuration for lawn and turf equipment. It features a 603cc 90° V-twin, 4-cycle OHV design, forced-air cooling, and electronic spark ignition.

The FS04S configuration is an electric-start engine with a 1" x 3-5/32" vertical crankshaft and Kawasaki's dual-element air filtration system. It also features pressurized lubrication, automatic compression release, internally vented carburetion, a rotating grass-chopper screen, cast-iron cylinder liners, and integrated clean-out ports.
